【Blender】How to Fix Overlapping When Using the Mirror Modifier

Blender

I am a beginner currently using my spare time to practice Blender.

While following a tutorial to create a character, I encountered an issue.
I wanted to place the facial parts (in this case, the eyes) symmetrically, but when I applied the “Mirror” modifier, they somehow overlapped, which caused some trouble.

Here’s how to fix that issue.

In conclusion, specifying the “Mirror Object” in the “Mirror” modifier will solve the problem.
Specifically, click the eyedropper tool and then select the object you want to use as the base.

Alternatively,
you can click on the field and select the name of the object you want to use as the base from the list of available objects.

By using either method to specify the “Mirror Object,” the eyes were placed symmetrically!
